Easter Week

Easter Week – Semana Santa – is one of the major celebratory periods in the Spanish fiesta calendar. And Benidorm is no different. Several processions take place on different days during the week, commencing on Palm Sunday and culminating on Easter Sunday. Our holiday resort is transformed as pageantry and religiosity take centre stage, beginning with the solemnity surrounding the crucifixion and ending with a more joyous and triumphant mood as we move towards the resurrection at the end of the week.
