The province of Alicante has been cultivating the grape since the 6th century. It is often an overlooked fact that wine is as vital to the Spanish way of life as it is for the French. It has always been that way. And the Mendoza family has significantly contributed to helping to achieve excellence in the art of viticulture in this part of the world.
