When first visiting Polop over 25 years ago, Bar La Font was run by a Spanish family offering a very traditional Spanish menu. Now run by Brits you will find a warm welcome and a more international menu including your very own English breakfast. Frequented by many expats, there are quiz nights and bingo on the entertainment schedule.
One thing that hasn’t changed is the setting. Tables and parasols set out on a sun-dappled terrace, the people passing by in no particular rush and the rhythm of life slowing to a steady pace. This place was made for enjoying the simple pleasures in life.
