We love Terra Mítica. It’s an awesome theme park. One with a Spanish vibe. A little more chilled, not hectic. You soon realise this is not the same experience as queuing in the drizzle at a windswept Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Divided into multiple civilization areas such as Greek and Roman, the park is easy to navigate and there are awesome rides for all ages in each zone. During the day epic shows take place in the various civilizations and a recent addition of the River Nile, Nile Jacuzzi and Lagoon allows you to cool off from a hot sun, so don’t forget to pack the swimming costumes. Plenty of restaurants and drink stations are dotted around the park and if you love theme parks as much as we do you can stay at the on-site Grand Luxor Hotel or one of the villas in the Grand Luxor Village where you can rest in style and prepare for a next day visit to sister park, Terra Natura, which is close by.
