On any given day you will see pro teams, weekend warriors, couples, families and solos out on the roads of Spain.
And La Vuelta is Spain’s race.
This year’s iteration starts in Monaco and ends on the streets of Grenada, kicking off 22nd August and finishing on the 13th of September.
For anyone in Benidorm and the Marina Baixa area, Stage 9 of this year’s event is held on 30th August where the route begins from Villajoyosa passing through Finestrat, La Nucia, Callosa d’en Sarrià and Tàrbena.
Don plenty of suncream, pack a bottle of water and make sure to grab a spot along the route to witness one of the world’s great cycle races!
