Moors and Christians

Designated by Spain as of National Tourist Interest, Callosa’s Moors and Christian Festival has been on the march since 1860. We think it’s one of the best you’ll find due to the compact nature of the town and the proximity of the marching marauders of Moors and Christians. The rhythmical sounds of the music, colourful costumes and the pure joy of all those who participate and spectate make the whole thing electric. If you’ve yet to witness one of this part of Spain’s longest traditions, Callosa is a good place to start.
