La Festa del Fadrí, also referred to as Les Danses de Sant Jaume, embodies the passion Spaniards have for their culture and traditions. Celebrated annually since 1819, this is one of Marina Baixa’s oldest festivals. As well as a poetic dance to celebrate the union of each couple the festivities include the playing of ancient games such as Valencian pelota, a coin game Calitxó and Corrida del Gallo – a Rooster Race!
