There’s nothing horrible about this bar in Benidorm Old Town. Quite the opposite. It is a lovely little retreat. No TV. No Karaoke. No Shows. But owner Paul plays some cracking music, plenty from the 1980s, and provides a first-class bar service with quality drinks reasonably priced. You might think you are walking into a cupboard from the outside, but it’s bigger than you imagine once inside. With low-level lighting and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s one of those places where you can sit at the bar, enjoy a good drink and chat with like-minded folk. Hagar’s Bar is the sort of bar to have helped define why Benidorm Old Town is just … brilliant.
